Our Staff

Company Directors, qualified electricians, and twin brothers Anthony and Michael Alderslade have worked together for 20 years. Collectively they have over 50 years’ industry experience gained through working for private and government organisations before joining forces to start Group Power Services.

Organised and reliable, Group Power Services provide the lowest ‘overall cost’ value proposition and have successfully helped private clients and the WA Government deliver essential electrical services to the community for many years.

A key focus of Group Power Services is to remain up-to-date with rapidly changing technology, including environmentally friendly options.

Friendly and professional, Group Power Services take pride in delivering quality workmanship to clients. Our experienced staff, including sub-contractors, are licensed to safely complete any job. Staff have police and working with children clearances and wear the Group Power Services uniform for quick and easy recognition.

Anthony Alderslade Company Director and Electrician

Passionate about providing innovative, high quality and reliable electrical services, Anthony proudly established Group Power Services in 1997.

Anthony takes pride in planning, project managing and completing your electrical and communication projects from start to finish.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Anthony provides innovative solutions across a wide range of electrical and communication service applications.

Before establishing Group Power Services, Anthony spent five years at the Engineering Department at St Anne’s Mercy Hospital undertaking electrical repairs, minor installation works and preventative maintenance. Over this time he developed an in depth knowledge of refrigeration, air-conditioning, medical equipment, rotating plant and machinery, computerisation, digital networks, and logic control systems.

Anthony completed his apprenticeship with New Era Electro Service in 1992.

Michael Alderslade Company Director and Electrician

Michael joined Group Power Services in 1999 and has a proven track record as a project manager and electrician proudly built over the past 25 years.

Specialising in public building management, Michael ensures best practice principles are applied to achieve maintenance objectives for public assets. Successfully managing an extensive number of maintenance projects for the WA Education and Health Departments, Michael also has expertise in conducting and writing electrical installation reports and surveys.

Prior to joining Group Power Services, Michael worked for Serco Australia Pty Limited for four years. At Serco he developed and maintained an effective Service Provider and Contractor Network to deliver trade-related maintenance services, including service contracts and tenders.

Michael completed his electrical apprenticeship in 1989 with the Building Management Authority where he worked for ten years in the Construction and Minor Works Departments undertaking special renovation tasks at Fremantle Courthouse, Government House, Parliament House, State Mortuary and many Dumas House projects. In addition to developing expertise in public asset renovation, Michael provided electrical maintenance and construction services in prisons and juvenile institutions.
